BPSU, PSTC – Bataan present DOST Ecest Project to Samal LGU

BPSU RDO Dir. Ma Florinda O. Rubiano presented the DOST ECEST funded project for Brgy. Palili, Samal, Bataan to Samal Mayor Aida G. Macalinao, Ms. Nora A. Medina - Municipal Agriculture Officer and Mr. Benjamin H. Layda – ABC President on July 22, 2021 at Samal Municipal Hall.

This was attended by Dr. Hermogenes M. Paguia , Vice President for Research, Extension and Training Services , Ms. Catalina V. De Leon – Cruz , PSTC - Bataan Director , Mr. Jerwin R. Vianzon, Science Research Specialist II , Mr. Christian Jayson G. Pedroche, Project Assistant II, Ms. Ma. Anna O. Feliciano and Ms. Kriziel M. Dela Rosa, RDO Technical Staff.

During the presentation, Mayor Aida expressed her gratitude to the proponents and the funding agency for choosing Brgy. Palili as their project site. Macalinao ensured BPSU and PSTC Bataan that the Municipality of Samal fully supports this endeavour and will do what they can to ensure the success of the said project.
eCEST Project aims to build progressive, empowered, and resilient communities by introducing appropriate science and technology interventions for livelihood, health and nutrition, education, environmental protection, and disaster risk reduction and management.
